When you’re slogging through a particularly challenging workout, it’s good to have someone to buoy you along. Someone who can motivate you with their own boundless energy. Someone who suspects you need a slightly different piece of equipment and will graciously offer up his own. Someone who will get underneath you as your arms are about to fail in a push-up. Someone who will lick the sweat from your face – and ears, and neck, and elbows – as you are sprinting through mountain climbers. Someone who will chase your jump rope. Someone charming and adorable and loyal.
